Happy Pride Month! Pride Bingo Fest will run from June 1st to 30th. This is my first time hosting, so please forgive any goofs. ๐Ÿ˜…

For the sake of max inclusion (and honestly, because I'm kind of a pride flag/identity nerd) I've made three seperate lists - one each for a broad mix of identities, one for aspec (asexual spectrum, aromantic spectrum, etc) terms, and one for general pride experiences and themes. There's a community card for each list and one mixed. Since ace and aro term defintiions tend to be the same save being applied to different types of attraction, I've paired them together. Feel free to use either or both.

If you need more info on anything, LGBTQIA+ Wiki is a great source. I'm no graphic artist, but I'll do my best to make some little banners for people who finish.

As a reminder, here's the bingo card generator, and here's the allbingo AO3 collection.

Have fun! ๐Ÿณ๏ธ‍๐ŸŒˆ

What's your favorite color? Whether blue, green, or pink, here are a ton of phrases with colors to inspire you. The Color Fest will run from May 1st to 31st, but like all AllBingo events, the end of the event doesn't mean the end of the fun. You can keep creating as long as you want.

These are inspired by some of the prompt lists on [community profile] rainbowlists. RainbowLists and RainbowFic are communities for original work (art, fic, etc) using prompt lists named after colors (for a very loose definition of "color" and "name").

Remember, you have lots of choices for how you use your bingo card: besides fiction, you can use prompts as inspiration for non-fiction, art, icons, videos, blog posts, crafts, meta, or anything else you can think of.

I'll make banners for anybody that gets a bingo or more! (you may have to remind me). Please add a comment on this post once you've earned a banner.

If you want to make a card of your own, here's the Bingo card generator and there's an AllBingo AO3 collection.

Announcing the May Trope Mayhem Prompt List for 2025!

May Trope Mayhem is a multi-fandom/original creation event open to writers, artists, and creators of all kinds! Our creators have shared their favorite tropes, and we’ve put together a list of 31, one per day through the month of May. We encourage creators to join us for this month of fun tropey mayhem.
Our goal is to promote motivation and help with habit building, so we’re encouraging authors to keep their ficlets under 1,000 words, artists to stick to making just a sketch, gif makers to only do a single image, etc., as applicable to whatever you’re making.

I've been participating in [community profile] snowflake_challenge, where lots of folks want to see more activity on Dreamwidth. While researching community activities, I came across the idea of thematic meet and greet events. That seemed like something which might work here, given a membership of several hundred people and a new theme each month. So I made one for this month's theme. It gives people a place to meet folks with similar interests, and to squee about the current theme.

Here is the basic outline. Fill in as much or as little of it as you wish, depending on your interests as they relate to the Valentines Fest.

In the United States, all works first published in 1929 and sound recordings from 1924 are now available for adaption, performance, and copying. This means that everything published in the 1920s in now public domain. This includes the first Mickey Mouse talkies, the original versions of Popey, Winnie the Pooh, and Tintin.

In other parts of the world, coming into the public domain are works by people who died in 1954, for countries with a copyright term of “life plus 70 years” (e.g. UK, Russia, most of EU and South America); and works by people who died in 1974, for countries with a term of “life plus 50 years” (e.g. New Zealand, and most of Africa and Asia).

This fest will run from January 1-31 and I'll provide 3x3 public cards to get y'all started.

Ahoy! From September 1-30, we have a fest dedicated to Piracy, both nautical and digital (and any other types you can think of?)

Interpret these as broadly as you want and have fun! Feel free to remove any terms you don't like before generating a card. You can make a card with the Bingo card generator and if you want, add your fic to the AO3 collection.

I've generated a 3x3 and 5x5 card for the Golden Age of Piracy and Digital Piracy, available under the cut.

Hi! Welcome to Superhero May at [community profile] allbingo! This bingo challenge runs May 1-31.

If you didn't know, May 29th is the official date given for Tony Stark aka Iron Man's birthday in both the comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I decided that I wanted to host an affair this year to celebrate Tony as he's my favorite MCU character of all time. I decided to include all of Marvel and DC comics in the celebration since Batman was actually my favorite superhero growing up!

I've come up with lists of prompts for Tony, The Avengers, The Justice League, and a mixed up list of prompts for both Marvel and DC. I've put the public tables and their codes here first, and then I'll put all the lists separately in text area boxes so y'all can generate your own card if none of the public cards have captured your interest! Sorry I was late getting this posted as I meant to post it at midnight but was upset by my team, the Braves, losing their game to the Mariners!

Hello and welcome to day 2 of April's Ninja Turtle bingo fest! Let's talk about cartoons and comics, terrapin-themed or no. :D

Feel free to chat about the bingo process, Ninja Turtles in specific or cartoons in general, or ask questions if you're curious or confused about the franchise or any fandom-specific bingo terms and I'll do my best to answer! Here are some potential questions to get started:

Do you have a favorite cartoon?

Did/do you or a family member ever watch Saturday morning cartoons? Do you have any fond memories of that?

Do you have a favorite comic book or comic strip?

If you were a cartoonist or comic book artist, what sort of comic or cartoon would you want to make? Would you want to create something new, or adapt something that already exists?

Have you ever seen or read any of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise? If so, do you have a favorite version or favorite character?

Some Ninja Turtles facts: )
