All Bingo

The Idea:

I really love short one-shots. They are quick to write, easy to read when taking a short break and a wonderful way to play around with ideas without investing hours of time. The idea behind this "fest" is to animate people to write more short pieces and to explore ideas that might otherwise fall to the wayside as longer, more involved projects take precedence.

The Event:

The fest will run from September 5th to October 5th. This is the time to get cards and post bingos. There will also be an amnesty period during October (October 6th to October 15th), where you can post lonely fills on your card that aren't part of a bingo.

1000 Words Or Less Fest is meant to be a small, stress-free event. I will offer two public bingo cards that people can use. There will also be the option to have me create a card for you or to create and use your own. If you want to use or even re-use a card you have from something else, feel free to do so. If you use cards from other bingos/communities, please make sure that their rules allow this.

Prizes:

Yes, there will be prizes! I will make banners for successful bingo makers. Since I will be creating these all by myself and real life is a thing, please allow some time for prize creation and delivery. There will also be a small participation reward for those who don't manage a bingo. The goal here is to entice people to write more things.
