Bingo fests typically have a theme and a philosophy. These vary, so their rules and parameters vary likewise. Below is a guide to some bingo communities that you might enjoy visiting. Much of the content has been pasted from the profiles and rules of the relevant communities, because people like to phrase things in different ways.

Community description: A fluffy multifandom + nonfandom bingo challenge
Fanwork or Original: All fandoms are allowed. All pairings are allowed. Original works are allowed.
Types of Fills: Fiction, poetry, and other writing are allowed. Art is allowed. Baked goods, or, heck, even things like lolcats are allowed. If you've got an idea that fits your prompt that isn't one of the more traditional kinds of challenge fills, you're welcome to use it.
Sizes
Written: An entire work of at least 500 words. Since poetry is a bit more difficult to standardize, poems should be complete, and, preferably, of moderate length (such as a series of short poems related to one prompt posted in a single set, or a single lengthy poem—use your own judgment for the length on this).
Art: Icon or gif sets should contain at least five icons. Graphics should be at least 500 x 500 pixels. Anything else should be a complete piece.
Media: Podfic should cover something the length of a qualifying written piece—works of 500 words or more. Videos should be at least 30 seconds long. Mixes or playlists should consist of at least ten songs, and an explanation for why you think they fit the prompt. You do not have to provide downloads. If you compose and/or perform a musical or video piece yourself, it should be at least 30 seconds long.
Reclists and Picspams: Reclists and picspams should link to at least ten items relevant to the prompt.
Other Notable Rules: All works should have a happy ending.

Fanwork or Original: All genres, fandoms, and pairings are welcome, as is original fiction.
Types of Fills: Art, fiction, icons, meta, pictures, podcasts, poetry, songmixes, videos.
Sizes
Fic: 500 words
Art: 320 x 240
Icons: set of 10
Meta: 1000 words
Picspam: 20 pics
Vids: 30 seconds
Mix: 10 songs (track list & explanation included)
Podfic: 500 word fic.
Poetry: 20/25 lines preferred - shorter (such as a sonnet - 14 lines) will be acceptable if we can see the effort and fullness of the idea.
Chaptered Fic: 500 words minimum per chapter - each chapter may deal with a different prompt, but they must have a definite beginning and ending. NOTE - the story MUST be complete when you turn in your bingo. WIP work will not be acceptable.
If you have a different idea - you want to bake a cake, knit a sweater, whatever - contact us so we can figure out what we need from you to make your fill.
Other Notable Rules: Dark Fantasy definition - ordinary humans faced with fantastic, extraordinary situations in a darker atmosphere. Extra-terrestrial, extra-sensory, supernatural, transhuman situations are all welcome, but the situation must have a dark side to it. Don't get us wrong - happy endings are totally welcome. We love them! The story must go through the dark side though - dark side of nature, human nature, human desire...whatever.

Community description: A Multi-fandom Bingo Challenge Community for Gen Prompts
Fanwork or Original: All fandoms are welcome. Original material is welcome.
Types of Fills: A prompt fill is a piece of fiction (fannish or original), poetry, analysis, an image or set of images, fanmix, video, or indeed anything else that represents some creative activity. All styles, genres, and ratings are welcome.
Sizes: Written work must be at least 100 words long. Single images need to be more complex than a simple crop of a screencap or publicity still, but crops are acceptable if multiple images are being submitted.
Other Notable Rules: Gen Prompt Bingo is a low commitment multi-fandom, multi-media bingo challenge. Its aim is to provide bingo cards of gen-style prompts to be used as inspiration in creating fic, images, meta, fanmixes, vids or any other kind of fannish activities. Although the prompts themselves are "Gen" (i.e., no prompts are specifically about romance or sex) fills may be of any genre, style or rating.

Community description: Tired of bemoaning the lack of hurt/comfort in our assorted fandoms, we've decided to take matters in our own hands and encourage people to write all the hurt/comfort stories in the world.
Fanwork or Original: Fandom or original content is accepted.
Types of Fills: You can submit fics, mixes, art, vids, podfics, picspams, rec lists, icons and meta. If your fill is a different medium, please alert the moderators. (This fest has accepted poetry in the past.)
Sizes
Fic: 500 words
Art: medium sized (at least 320x240)
Icons: set of 10
Rec post: 10 recs (any combination of fandoms), including an explanation on how each rec fits the theme.
Podfic: 500 word fic
Picspam: 20 pics
Vids: 30 seconds
Mix: 10 songs with track list and explanation included
Meta: 1000 words
Please note that the minimum requirements are different if you’re aiming for a 25-in-1 Achievement.
Fic: 12500 words
Art: wallpaper sized (1024x768 - 1280x800)
Mix: 30 songs, plus track list and explanation
Icons: set of 50
Meta: 15000 words
Podfic: a fic of 15000 words
Vids: 5 minutes
Picspam: 100 pictures
Rec post: 50 stories
Other Notable Rules: All prompts are open to interpretation, as either hurt or comfort. For example, 'tentacles' can vary from a character being attacked by something tentacled to the difficulties of being tentacled to being soothed by tentacles, etc; 'loss of vision' could mean anything from a temporary or permanent loss of sight to the loss of ones' vision/goal/future/psychic sight to the removal of a hurtful vision/psychic sight, etc.

Community description: Like your grandma used to play, but not.
Fanwork or Original: Any fandom is allowed (no matter how tiny). Any pairing/grouping/character is allowed. Original characters are allowed; original fic/art/meta/picspams/etc are allowed.
Crossovers and fusions are allowed. Doing every single square with the same fandom and pairing is allowed; doing a different fandom and different pairing on every single square is allowed. RPF is allowed. Underage fic is allowed; noncon and dubcon are allowed; incest is allowed. Slash and het and solofic and transfic and asexual fic and gen are allowed. All ratings from G to R to NC-17 are allowed. Fanworks or original works that are not in English are allowed. Pretty much, most things are allowed.
Types of Fills: Art, comics, crafts, essays, fic, filk, gifs, icons, layouts, manips, meta, mixes, podfic, poetry, recs, scanlations, songs, translations, vids.
Sizes: Stories, essays, translations, commentaries, and podfic should be 500 words or more; vids and songs should be 20 seconds or more; art and comics should be finished pieces (whatever that means for you); scanlations should cover a finished comic or an entire story arc; icon sets and gifsets should contain at least five icons/gifs; recs sets should be ten recs OR 500 words long (and those can be recs of anything, not just fic recs); picspams should be at least twenty pictures long; fanmixes should contain at least ten songs; poems and crafts can be whatever size you like. Combination fanworks must fill at least one requirement – so a picspam-illustrated story should have either 500 words or 20 pictures (or both).
Other Notable Rules: The erotic focus of your fanwork should be the given kink. So an "authority figures" story cannot just involve a cop having sex; somebody (whether the characters, or the story itself, or both) must be specifically interested in the fact that the character is a cop. NOTE: "erotic focus" does not necessarily mean "sex" – we like and encourage G-rated and PG-rated interpretations of kinks, solo kink, dialogue-only kink, fanworks that are kinky as heck but where no one takes their clothes off, and fanworks where the character's relationship to the kink, though intense, isn't necessarily sexual. Orgasms are (almost) always optional.

Community description: celebrating female-centric relationship
Fanwork or Original: Fandom or original content is accepted.
All genres are welcome here: het, slash, femslash, poly and gen.
Types of Fills: You can submit any kind of content: fics, mixes, art, vids, podfics, picspams, rec lists, icons, meta, poetry, and so on.
Sizes
Fic: 500 words
Art: medium sized (at least 320x240)
Icons: set of 10
Rec post: 10 recs (any combination of fandoms)
Podfic: 500 word fic
Picspam: 20 pics
Vids: 30 seconds
Mix: 10 songs with track list and explanation included
Meta: 1000 words
Poetry: 500 words
Other Notable Rules: This is a bingo challenge celebrating the various shades of relationships amongst females. Why? Because female-identified characters are awesome. Female-centric relationship is pretty much the highest level of awesome. It also exists due to my frustration at not finding enough fic focusing on female relationships.
What is acceptable for this bingo challenge? Any female-identified characters in any type of relationship with each other, or in a gen fanwork. Your stories can include male characters, but the focus of the story should be the various shades of female characters.
Stories should not be transphobic, biphobic, homophobic, racist, ableist or sexist. That being said, your characters may deal with these issues within the course of the story and every story does not have to be happy. Exploring issues is fine, and cathartic for many. Genderswap of a canonically male identified character is unacceptable except in response to the Genderswap prompt.

Community description: This community encourages people to create large works.
Fandom or Original: Fills may be in any fandom, whether FPF or RPF. Original fiction is also allowed. Fills may be slash, femmeslash, het, or gen. You may combine fandoms in any way you wish - 25 fills with 25 different fandoms is allowed, 25 fills in the same fandom is allowed, anything in between is allowed.
Types of Fills: Fills must be fic or podfic with a length of at least 5,000 words.
I would love to discuss ways to include other types of fanworks in this challenge. If there's a demand for different types of media to be included then there's no reason why they shouldn't be. My own experience is mostly limited to fic, however, so I would rely on input from others to work out suitable minimum requirements.
Other Notable Rules: This fest has fewer bingo options but more extra options, and the size requirements are different for some of them.

Fandom or Original: NO fanworks of any kind. Original material ONLY.
Types of Fills: Fics, poems, drabbles, icon sets, podfics, knitting projects, interpretive dances, pottery, paintings, little sculpey figures, soundtrack, pictograms, essays, art, picspams, photo manips, etc. are all fine, so long as they relate to an original fiction idea in some way. Maybe they are actual original fiction. Maybe they are illustrations for one of your fic ideas. Maybe they are particular outfits your heroine wears, or paintings that your gentleman thief has stolen, or mockups of settings your characters will visit, or a mixture of these. This challenge is for YOU, and whatever you want to create is fine, so long as it relates to your original fiction in SOME WAY.
Sizes: Your pieces do not need to be any specific length/format/medium.
Origfic Bingo is not a competition. There are various "bingos" of varying levels of challenge that can be made, but there is no formal scoring. As such, YOU are always in control of how much or how little you want to create during Origfic Bingo. As original fiction ideas are potentially copyrightable and publishable, how much or how little you want to share with the community is also up to you.
Other Notable Rules: This community currently uses rolling signups and continual posting, rather than open/closed periods separated by amnesty. New players may request a card during the first week of every month. After completing a bingo, you may get a fresh card immediately if you wish. The first week of every month, you can request a new card even if you haven't completed a bingo.
Pick what kind of card you would like. We have several flavors to choose from:
-- Totally Gen cards (general prompts not involving romance-specific themes)
-- Gen+Romance cards (which draw from the general prompts and also some romance themes)
-- Gen+Romance+Kink cards (which draw from the gen and romance themes as well as kinky themes a la Kink Bingo.

All ratings from G to R to NC-17 are allowed. Pretty much, most things are allowed.
Types of Fills: To fill in a square, you should write a story/make a vid/make a podfic/make a recs set/make an icon set/make a gif- or photoset/write an essay/make a picspam/draw some art/make a painting/make a manip/make a comic/make a fanmix/make a layout/translate a story or essay/make a scanlation/write a song/write a filk/knit a teatowel/build a diorama/make a collage/write a dvd commentary on a story or vid or artpiece/do some other form of art that focuses on that trope.
Sizes: Stories, essays, translations, and podfic should be 500 words or more; vids and songs should be 20 seconds or more; art and comics should be finished pieces (whatever that means for you); scanlations should cover a finished comic or an entire story arc; icon sets and gifsets should contain at least five icons/gifs; photosets should contain at least 10 images & 100 accompanying words; recs sets should be ten recs OR 500 words long (and those can be recs of anything, not just fic recs); picspams should be at least twenty pictures long; fanmixes should contain at least ten songs; poems and crafts can be whatever size you like. Combination fanworks must fill at least one requirement – so a picspam-illustrated story should have either 500 words or 20 pictures (or both).
Other Notable Rules: Trope Bingo is a pan-fandom bingo community that uses common and well-known fandom tropes as squares. Our goal is to inspire fanworkers to reexamine and reinterpret old ideas and plotlines in new and unconventional ways. Tropes are devices and conventions that a writer can reasonably rely on as being present in the audience members' minds and expectations. On the whole, tropes are not clichés. The word clichéd means "stereotyped and trite." In other words, dull and uninteresting. We are not looking for dull and uninteresting entries. We are here to recognize tropes and play with them, not to make fun of them.

For sake of everyone's fun and sanity, please review the complete rules of your chosen community before requesting a card. Rules vary between communities, and they can change from one round to the next even within the same community.
If the source community for your card is currently open and your bingo is eligible, please call bingo there and just include a link to it here. If you find that you can't bingo on your card's source community because you made a fill that was too small, or the wrong tone, or you don't want to post a fill because it hasn't been sponsored, etc. then you can call bingo here instead. If the source community is dormant or closed, you can post your bingo claim here.
