This is the February community post for
allbingo . What were your bingo activities during February? What are your plans for March?
For Febuary we had:
Valentines Fest hosted by
ysabetwordsmith
This fest features romantic ups and downs, along with platonic options.
Posting will be February 1-29.
For March we will have:
[recurring]
National Craft Month Fest hosted by
nsfwords
This is a fest focusing on the myriad joys (and frustrations) of Crafting.
Posting will be March 1-30.
Nobody has volunteered for April yet. Would anyone like to host a bingo then? You can pick your favorite fandom or other topic, and it's not a lot of work.

Date: 2024-02-29 09:48 pm (UTC)It's not starting out so well, though. I'm sick and haven't been as productive as I would have liked all week... looking forward to jumping into this with both feet once my energy is back, though!
Welcome!
Date: 2024-02-29 10:29 pm (UTC)Yay! I wish you luck with it.
>> I'm new to this community but it sounds like it will be fun. :D

Date: 2024-02-29 11:46 pm (UTC)I was a very involved user/mod of an LJ comm way back... 2010-2013ish. Then migrated to nothing with the occasional Tumblr jaunt. It was uncanny how familiar it felt to start up a Dreamwidth journal despite the decade of separation. It was a day of rediscovery and joy, honestly. Ahhh HTML, I've missed you! Switching between icons depending on mood/role, my old friend!!
I don't see much Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan activity on DW at all, and I think I'm going to be an odd duck in that regard, but I am trying to be better about staying in one fandom and finishing what I start. I have a handful of projects I will be so incredibly proud of if I can just stop being fandom-flighty and finish for once in my life. I just hope not to be too much of a bother if all the bingo/challenge fills I do around the site for a while are for one singular fandom like the world's greenest and scaliest and ninja-est one-trick pony!

It's good to have you here, getting back into this style of blogging. :D

Good plan.

Go for it!

No problem, we have members who focus on a single character or set of characters. Write what you love!
See our Bingo and Achievement page for options with the same source or other features.
Finally, check the Community Calendar for open slots, we still have some where you could host a TMNT fest if you wish.

Date: 2024-03-01 01:57 am (UTC)Thank you! Glad to be here.

Unfortunately, no one other than me has posted in
The other two appear to be furry communities, and I don't have a fursona, but I'll keep an eye out to see if any other TMNT fans end up posting in them.

That's reassuring to hear. I won't feel so self-conscious, then! :D

If you think it would be something that might interest others, that sounds like fun! The very first TMNT issue was published on April 30, 1984, which would make April 2024 the 40-year anniversary? Or I wouldn't mind any other open month, either, I don't have much going on.
Re: Welcome!

>> but I will definitely try to crosspost a few things to there regularly so if someone happens to wander in someday, I'll have a buddy! <<
That's a good idea.
You could also advertise it on

Oh, that's perfect. :D I'll put you down for April. There may be other TMNT fans in the audience, and if not, people can still use the prompts for other purposes. You've got lots of options -- episode titles, character quotes, characters and motifs, etc. Browse some previous fests to see how people lay them out. Often there are several sublists to choose from or mix-and-match.

Several sublists should be a piece of
cakepizza! I'm excited.Re: Welcome!
Date: 2024-03-01 03:05 am (UTC)I'm happy I could help. Come to think of it, you can promote that comm in your fest and encourage folks to crosspost there.
