Three Weeks for Dreamwidth is a celebration of the platform's anniversary, running April 25-May 15. See Ways to Participate and a Blogging Questionnaire.

Activities for

Week 1: Community Questionnaire
Here is a mini-questionnaire that you can use, one day at a time or all at once:
How long have you belonged to this community? What attracted you to it? How often do you play?
What do you like best about creative bingo? Do you feel that it helps you as a creative person?
What are some of your favorite bingo themes? Are those single events, recurring, or a mix of both?
Do you participate in other bingo communities? If so, what are some of your favorites?
Do you typically create fills in the same format or fandom, or spread them out over different kinds? What will readers find in your work?
Have you ever made blackout (filled all the prompts on a card)? If so, how many times?
Have you ever hosted a bingo fest here? If so, what was your favorite theme(s)? If not, what themes might you fantasize about hosting?
Week 2: Rec Fest
We make so much stuff here! Let's share some favorites. For most fill types, 1-5 recs is a good number. Some types, like icons or songlists, typically have larger numbers, so use your best judgement. Here are some rec prompts that you can use, one day at a time or all at once.
Recommend something from your first bingo card, or the earliest one you can find. Include a link to your card or bingo claim if you still have those.
Recommend a bingo fill from last year that gave you a great sense of accomplishment. What made you so proud of it?
Recommend the one fill that you made on a card. Did you mean to make more but didn't have time, or was it just not a very inspiring card?
Recommend something where you used multiple prompts in the same fill, or wrote more than one fill for the same prompt. (Some bingo themes or achievements call for this, but it counts if you did it by accident or on a whim.) Do you like these approaches? Why or why not?
Recommend something posted here by another member. What are some of your favorites and why?
Recommend a series or collection. It can be from one card or a set of different cards. How do you feel about related works?
Recommend something from a small fandom or rarepair. This can be by you or someone else. Is this something you regularly follow, or just a fluke?
Other Ideas
Recommend this community on your blog or in another community.
Use the Bingo Card Generator to make prompt of the day during Three Weeks for Dreamwidth. Create a fill and post it only to Dreamwidth (at least during this event).
Browse the posts in
allbingo and comment on them. Let hosts know you appreciate their bingo theme, and creators know that you liked their fills.
Check out the community calendar for 2022. There are still a few empty slots, or months where there is a recurring theme and could add a new theme. If you've been thinking about hosting a fest, now is a good time to volunteer.
