This is the September community post for allbingo. What were your bingo activities during the past month? What are your plans for September?


For August we had:
Cottoncandy Bingo fest hosted by ysabetwordsmith 
Enjoy the light and fluffy things in life.

So far nobody has claimed September or November.  Would you like to host a fest?  You can pick whatever theme sounds inspiring to you.  Please reply here if you're interested.  I'd rather not host two months in a row, to give other folks a chance to feature their favorite themes.

I might would do September but have no ideas for a theme, sorry.

You could look on the Bingo Card Generator and see if any of the lists already on there inspire you. Sometimes a host uses just one list, other times a combination. Obviously this month Cottoncandy was the main list in use, but I also mentioned several others that would fit.

Other folks have made up lists. It doesn't have to be a topical theme -- we've had some based on crayon names or song titles that were all over the map in terms of topic.

Let me know if you find something and I'll announce it.

Hosting instructions are on the schedule page. It's pretty simple -- pick a topic, post an announcement about it, say yay when people make fills, and if you want you can do a summary at the end but that's optional.

Hey can I take November instead? My head isn't in this tonight and taking November gives me time to think about this more and get everything together.

I must say vocabulary word lists can make fun prompt lists. like the page here: http://www.english-for-students.com/Words-by-Theme.html.

Also September 19th is Talk Like a Pirate Day. ;)

My favorite is the Phrontistery.

Pirates, bandits, etc. would make a terrific theme.

Well, innitmarvelous_og wants November, so that leaves September open if you want to run your nautical theme. I think your ideas sound awesome.

I wish I had time to host but September is a busy month for me.
