Date: 2014-08-29 06:02 pm (UTC)*grin* Crossing the 5000 word threshold does feel like a big hump. There's another around 10,000 if you're writing a single piece. Series, it's easier in small episodes. But it all gets easier with practice.

I know the feeling. I don't think the shear ever stops being a challenge. However, in my observation, most people gain speed with practice.
