General Description: A prompt com with 40 prompts for the sedoretu from planet O in some of Ursula le Guin's works. The sedoretu is a marriage system with 2 halves; the morning moiety & the evening moiety. With the marriage being between 4 individuals, typically 1 man & woman from the morning moiety & 1 man & woman from the evening moiety, with that there's for every individual 1 expected het pairing & 1 expected gay-pairing. They can’t be involved with people of their own moiety, which is seen as sacrilege (as said by others within the canon culture, I ain’t stopping you from exploring the sacrilege~)
You think Tony Stark/Pepper Potts/Bruce Banner/Betty Rose would be a good OT4? Or maybe Merlin/Moragan/Gwen/Arthur? Or maybe Adrien Agreste/Mariette Dupain-Cheng/Luka Couffaine/Kagami Tsuguri is more your thing? Or an entire diffrent polyship? But you’d want more structured drama? General Description: A prompt-tables com with 25 prompts for every quadrant. The quadrants are a romance system from the alien race trolls from HOMESTUCK with 4 types of romance. The typical version of romance is there, but there’s also the QPR but more specific, the one where they hate eachother but can’t help but find eachother attractive & the one where a mediator stops people from being stupid and destructive. Of course feelings do change (called vacillitation), which is a confusing mess for everyone involved. The trolls in HOMESTUCK didn't differentiate by gender when it cames to relationships, the idea itself being foreign to them.
You think that someone from the Avengers team would still make-out with Loki or Tony while still hating his guts? You think John Watson & Sherlock weren’t the kissy type but still had SOMETHING going on? You think there should be someone making sure Bakugou wasn’t antagonizing others? Or maybe entirely diffrent ships with similar traits? Maybe you’re just here for the “what am I even feeling?” kind of drama? Maybe the quadrants romance system is something you’re interested in!
There’s no deadline. All fanworks are welcome (no AI-gen & written needs to be 100 words min). Both fanwork & original are welcome. A further explanation of both systems are on their respective coms sticky together with the rules/guidelines. You may use prompts from either com to use as fills for other creative endevors.
And though these are first and formost about filling the prompts, you may use them for things related to sedoretu/quadrants (e.g. fic/art/podfic recs, advice, or maybe just brainstorm plotbunnies togethor).
