Welcome to the Gothic Bingo Fest, running April 1-30. It was inspired by the recent TV show Wednesday from The Addams Family canon, but works just as well for other Gothic canons, and should generalize to most "dark" material as well. You can write about other stuff, too, of course; some of the prompt categories are easier to riff than others. Drop by the Gothic Meet and Greet to share what you love about this genre.

To diversify the offerings, I've taken several steps...
1) Prompts are divided into several groups. Wednesday Characters draw mainly from Wednesday with a few extras thrown in from other Addams Family iterations. Gothic Characters include tropes and archetypes. Settings feature a mix of show-specific and Gothic-general prompts. Plot Points are mostly general with a few more inspired by the show. Quotes come from Wednesday, but could of course be used elsewhere. Tropes and Motifs come primarily from the Gothic genre, with some inspired by the show.
2) A 3x3 public card is offered in each category, in hopes of making it easier to blackout. A 5x5 card mixes everything together for variety.
Feel free to mix and match the prompts, though, if you want a more diverse card. You can make a standard 5x5 or whatever you want. Creative interpretation is encouraged, and you don't have to stick to a category just because you're using its prompts. You can take any prompt literally or figuratively.
3) Challenges! These are prompts that make the bingo card more exciting. You can add them to any category, or skip them, as you choose. They do let you claim multiple fills from one work.
=Mirror= turn adjacent dark prompt fluffy or vice versa,
=Nevermore= feature adjacent prompt without using the words in it,
=Snap Twice= combine exactly two adjacent prompts,
=Teen Hormones= use 2+ adjacent prompts one for each character in a sexy scene,
=Wolf Out= turn adjacent nonviolent prompt into mayhem,
4) In addition to the standard bingo patterns of line, blackout, etc. there are others especially suited to this fest: Arrowhead, Graveyard, Letter A, Letter G, Letter W, Monster, Tarantula.

It's totally fine to add your own prompts in keeping with the theme.
