Welcome to the Food Fest Bingo! Enjoy everything to do with food. All formats, sizes, fandoms, and original work are welcome. Posting will be June 1-30.
Fills can be made by:
* buying a cookbook
* reading a cookbook
* reviewing a cookbook
* researching recipes online
* making a list of recipes
* translating a recipe from another language
* translating a historic recipe into modern terms
* transferring a recipe from another world
* exploring a new cuisine
* trying a new fruit or vegetable
* trying a new ingredient
* trying a new dish
* cooking a new recipe
* inventing a recipe
* growing food
* foraging food
* hosting a feast
* giving food as a gift
* learning a new cooking technique
* trying a different cooking utensil
* visiting a restaurant
* photographing food
* drawing or otherwise illustrating food
* making icons of food
* writing about food
* or other food-related activities.
EDIT 6/1/22 -- It just occurred to me that the list of ways to create a fill would also work as a list of prompts!
Activities

It's also okay to take the prompts and twist them around to other things, like using "brown" as a color instead of a cooking process or "Afghani" as a culture rather than a cuisine.
There are 5 categories: Cookbooks, Cooking Processes, Cuisines, Food Types, and Spice Blends. Each is big enough to make a 5x5 card. You can choose a single-topic card or a mixed card. Play a public card or make your own. And feel free to throw in your own food-related prompts.

Date: 2022-06-01 09:15 am (UTC)All at Once
Every prompt on the card crammed into a single work. Shove 'em in there however you can. Do this for sex/romance and it becomes If It Fits, It Ships!

Date: 2022-06-02 01:01 am (UTC)Exactly, but it doesn't state the size of the card. There are 2x2, 3x3, etc.
>> I don't think there will be enough kitchen subplot scenes to make blackout even on a 3x3 card unless I do multiple squares per scene, but there's probably no reason I can't do exactly that…<<
Also fine.

That's good to hear.
>> Thank you for hosting this.<<
You're welcome. I wanted to include more options than just the usual writing.

Date: 2022-06-02 07:31 pm (UTC)Now I need to get off my backside and so something about the mess my house has become. There's been way to much disorganization in my life lately.
