This is the August community post for allbingo . What were your bingo activities during the past month? What are your plans for September?

We're making good progress on membership. There are 79 subscribers. Do you know folks who might enjoy this community? Invite them over!

dialecticdreamer  hosted the Birthday Bingo fest from August 1-31.  Check out those posts, not just for the fills but the prizes too.
UPDATE: dialecticdreamer is still offering drabble prizes for bingos in this fest during September, so it's basically still going this month if you missed August.  

September will feature the Hurt/Comfort Meta fest, hosted by ysabetwordsmith, from September 1-30.  Pick a hurt/comfort prompt from the public card or one of your own, then explain how to write it and why it's fun.    

Next up will be Horror Remix hosted by elizabeth_rice.  

November and December are open if you would like to host a fest.  Hosts get to choose the theme, timing, and other parameters for their fest.  See the 2014 schedule for upcoming fests and details about how to host. 

New Rounds for ladiesbingo and genprompt_bingo

Somewhat optimistically, I think, I set the starting dates for the next rounds of both ladiesbingo and genprompt_bingo for today. Both comms are affiliated to allbingo so you are encouraged to post fills (and partial fills) here as well as to the comms.
