My progress in July

My summary for the WInterfest bingo is...mixed. I’ve used all but FOUR squares, including “Greetings from Krampus,” so it’s not like they were impossible. Not finishing will itch at the back of my brain, and I know it.

The other situation was that a couple of technical glitches ate into my non-writing time, which means that I don’t have the neat list of bingo prompts with links to the posted story and word count, even though I spent a good amount of time setting up exactly that document back on the first.

Now the up side? For my main story arc, called “Life’s Ladder,” I posted 47,984 words, JUST for the stories, excluding headers. In addition, I posted another 11,187 words in other story arcs, for a grand total of 59,171 words in the month of July alone.

Here are two sample links, with the caveat that they are in what was an ongoing story arc, so it may be hard to gain context without reading more of the posted stories.

WOW. That is an impressive word count. Technical glitches suck.

Vexed and I adhere to the community standard that you can finish your card whenever your are able. For our bingo, the only difference is, if you finish by the end of the month, you get a custom banner with your name on it and if you finish later, you get the "I made a bingo at winterfest in july at allbingo"

Though, if you are that close to a blackout, you've probably made a bingo.

Oh, I made three bingoes, if I recall. I'll pick the card up to finish once I plow thorugh the nonsexual intimacy card this month, because I usually write gentle fiction, which relies heavily on these forms of intimacy.
