Arts and Crafts Festival

For September, I'm hosting an Arts and Crafts Festival. Celebrate your favorite arts and crafts, or creativity in general. You can fill prompts in various ways: make actual craft items, write about characters doing crafts, or use them as ordinary inspiration for whatever you like. Posting will be September 1-30. All media and fandoms are welcome, along with original work. There are no size requirements. Use a public card or make your own.


This fest primarily uses the Art Media list on the Bingo Card Generator. If you want more variety, you can add in other prompt lists such as:

Thank you! I wish I could get a 25-square card, but I already have too much on my plate right now, so I chose to go easy. Anyway, this arts & crafts theme is an awesome idea for a bingo. Thanks for running it!

It was a way to help figure out what kind of complications I could handle without losing my writing momentum. As of last night, 107K words, so I think I proved that I could swing it!

Of course, September is nearly over and I won't be working on this card for now. But I like this festival's theme and I'll be giving it a try as soon as I have some free time.

This community doesn't put rigid time limits on fests. You can play any card at any time. The only limit is that some hosts set a timeframe for earning banners or other perks for making bingo. I don't make banners, so even that is irrelevant for my fests.

This flexibility is one of the things that have me excited about this community. In fact, I'll be telling my friends about this comm, and while I can't make any promises, maybe I'll be able to persuade some of them to take part in challenges here. :)
