I mentioned, a while back, the set of online prompt generators for bingo cards and other prompt formats that I had developed.

ysabetwordsmith suggested moving them to a crowdfunding model to allow other people to contribute and request customisations.

That involved (a rather more serious than anticipated) rewrite of the back end. However that is now complete. I've not implemented crowd-funding, as such, since I doubt I'd make enough from the site to make the financial, legal and tax implications worth the effort. However there is a points-and-prizes model in place in the hope that will encourage people to use and contribute to the site. A few people who had already helped out get some points up front if they want them.

This sounds really useful. Thanks for expanding it!

I think it would be cool to have the "X meets Y at Z" available outside specific fandoms. All we'd need for that would be one list of generic character types (single mom, reluctant hero, etc.) and locations (bus stop, erupting volcano, captured starship, etc.). If you're interested, I could make you some lists for that.

It wouldn't be too difficult to throw the "jobs and roles" prompt list into the set of lists for people to select from - it's a slight adaptation of the existing set up (since I've separated lists of characters and lists of prompts) so let's say 2 points worth of work (and you've plenty of points in hand so that isn't a problem). You could then send extra prompts to be added either to the jobs and roles list or send whole additional lists to be included.

If that's OK with you I can put the adaption you want on my to do, though at the moment it's likely to take a couple of weeks for me to get around to it and then, once it's done, you can send new prompts and prompt lists as and when it suits you.
