Note: This is not the beginning of a new fest. It's just an announcement and preparation post for an upcoming event that will run from November 1 to 30. The current
allbingo event is the awesome and highly recommended Fall Festival Bingo, which will run until October 31. Hello, everybody! I'd like to invite you all to take part in the People-Watching Fest, which will run from the whole month of November, 2019. This post here is meant to introduce you to the fest and to give you prompt lists and public cards, so that you can start your planning for the event and maybe even create some works in advance.
Traditionally, the concept of people-watching involves going to some public place and watching strangers as they come and go. However, for this fest you aren't required to follow that concept closely (or at all), although of course you can do it if you want to. But really, the fest is more like an excuse to encourage you to use some nice prompts and create cool works. ;) Also, this is a multifandom event that welcomes all kinds of works: written, visual, audio, video, anything goes! And it doesn't matter if your works are fannish or original. Both types will be received with open arms!
ETA: There are no minimum or maximum requirements for the works you create for this fest. I just ask that you create one brand new work for each prompt that you use (unless you're going for a
bingo pattern that requires the use of two or more prompts for the same fill). Other than that, there are no limits.
Prompt Lists Below you'll find several prompt lists that you can use for this fest. Select your desired lists, or handpick your favorite prompts, and generate a card at
An Owomoyela - Bingo Generator. All card sizes from 2x2 to 7x7 are acceptable.
( Prompt Lists Here ) Public Cards You don't necessarily have to generate a brand new card. You can instead pick one or more of the public cards below and play with them. Or you can do both things, i. e., generate a card and also pick a public one. There's no official limit to the amount of cards you can get, since this is a very simple and low-pressure fest. ;)
Quick note about the free spaces: You can fill them with any prompt from any of the prompt lists above.
( Public Cards Here ) I hope you like the prompts and cards! :) I'll be back on November 1 with the official opening post for the People-Watching Fest. See you soon!
