Welcome to the Spring and Autumn Fanworks Fest (or the Spring and Autumn Bingo).
For the month of April, I thought we could celebrate Spring (in the Northern hemisphere) and Autumn (in the Southern hemisphere) by creating fanworks and/or original works like poetry, podfics (especially of poems), art, meta, vids, icons, craft, picspam, recs list (especially of works other than fan/origfic). But fret not, fanfic and origfic are also welcome.
The posting period is from the 1st to the 30th of April. The rules are the same as
allbingo. All fandoms, original works, genres, pairings and gen are welcome. You may combine other bingo cards, you may collaborate with others, and use any bingo pattern. I've created a public card (see end of post) if you'd like to use it, but you may also create your own card if you prefer. Anything goes as long as your fills relate to Spring or Autumn in some way.
PoetryIf you've never written a poem before,
ysabetwordsmith has kindly shared several resources:

Art and GraphicsUnfortunately there aren't any art vids or tutes for adults at beginner level. Plenty of tutes are available on youtube for children and adults at intermediate levels. So if you've never drawn or painted before, remember you can always create stick figure art. Yes, stick figure art is a valid artform. It's comic art. And anthropomorphic comic art is also quite popular. Characters as vegetables, everyday objects or animals is a very popular idea. You may also try creating icons, banners or wallpapers. There are basic image-editing programs that often come with your computer, to edit your family pics, etc. You could use those to create manips and other graphics.
PodficsHere's a link for
creating podfics. It seems like a good place to start because she has helpfully provided lots of links. She has also linked to comms on LJ and DW for tips etc.
Thanks to
luzula and
jjhunter for the tips, here are some communities if you're looking for podficcers for collaborations, etc.:
amplificathon,

PoliciesIf you wish to create transformative works (like podfics or art) based on another person's fanworks, but don't know if they have a transformative works policy please refer to the following lists:
1.
List of people who give permission.
2.
List of people who do not give permission.
If you'd like to give permission (or don't want others to use your works) and if your name is not on either list, please comment to this post with a link to your policy or a statement. This will also be useful for the remix bingo I'll be holding in October.
