This is the October community post for allbingo . What were your bingo activities during October? What are your plans for November?

For October we had:

Fall Fest hosted by vexed_wench and spiralicious
Celebrate the motifs of autumn.
Posting will be October 1-31.

For November we will have:

Drabble Fest hosted by siberian_skys 
Write tiny gems of wonder!
Posting will be November 1-30.

We do not have anything slated for December. Does anybody want to claim that one? Maybe something that could be small or light during the holiday ruckus?

Also, start thinking about fest ideas for next year.  The 2024 Community Calendar usually goes up in late November or early December, so you will be able to claim months then.  Do you have a new fandom?   An old favorite?  Which months are less busy for you?  Jot down ideas so you'll have them later.

I'd be willing to do an amnesty fest.

On RainbowFic I just posted our 400th list and we've got a party event going for that so I could brainstorm some ways to bring that over here as well, if that's okay

Folks are always welcome to boost the signal here for other bingo communities or similar prompt-based inspiration activities. Lots of people play in multiple communities along those lines, so cross-promotion benefits everyone.

I should get the amnesty fest up soon then. :) I'll probably have to wait until Friday or this weekend, because, y'know, work

Ideally, no later than December 1, which is indeed Friday.

However, consider looking over previous years -- I know we've done amnesty fests before. You could probably save time by copying text from one of those. It's not like a fest where you have to build a whole new prompt list.

That's a good point. I just was afraid I wouldn't have time/energy tonight and I'm away from home (to work in the office two+ hours away - I spend the night in that city and the rest of the week is work from home) tomorrow and Wednesday and generally am super tired Wednesday night for obvious reasons.
