Want to do every Allbingo event EVER?

Or, I dunno, get ideas for future events? I made a checklist of every fest ever. On my journal here If you want the html or Word (well, LibreOffice) file, let me know. If anybody wants to do some statistical graph magic, I've included who hosted each fest as well, except for amnesty fests. Let me know if you find any errors.

Who wants to host a fest of doing old fests?

This sounds like a cool idea. Were you envisioning more of an amnesty thing, making cards with prompts included from multiple fests, both, or more of a let's see how many old fests you can do in a month kind of a thing?

I was thinking a bingo card with event names and folks can either get a prompt from the event or use the event as a prompt. Some of the really old ones aren't great about having cards or lists that are easy to put into the bingo card maker.

But that's just one idea.

Was also thinking the months that no one signs up for, people could pick an old fest to do, like an amnesty thing. It might take some pressure off ysabetwordsmith to get someone to put something up (or have to do it herself). Or at least, that having all the past events in one place, it'd be easier to steal some ideas.

(I'm planning on making a basic html template for events to help out new people who want to host as well)

That could work.

Yes, as a general rule, people can play any card at any time so this is always an option.

Absolutely! I was also going to make images of all the bingo variations I can find so we could have them all in one place without having to worry about them disappearing (this will obviously take longer...)

I'm just hoping I can make things a little easier for you and to bring in new hosts. The recurring fests make it clear that re-using prompt lists isn't a bad thing, so having resources like this list available could help.

And feel free to link / copy the lists, since not all the community calendar pages have the fests linked (I have a clean HTML file as well if you want it).

That would be great. Sometimes the bingo images do disappear. I replace them as best I can, but we've still lost some.

Please consider posting about that over on marchmetamatterschallenge because it's a valuable resource that lots of people would appreciate.

Sooth. The most popular ones have been running for years. With Valentines, I try to add some new prompts each year for variety.

The template and the events list you made would be really helpful for new people, especially the ones that want to do SOMETHING, but have no idea what.

I agree that it's very useful. As a resource for beginners, though, they can grab any list of prompts already in the Bingo Card Generator. Some we use regularly, but others haven't been featured yet.
