2025 Public Domain Day Bingo Fest

silvercat17In the United States, all works first published in 1929 and sound recordings from 1924 are now available for adaption, performance, and copying. This means that everything published in the 1920s in now public domain. This includes the first Mickey Mouse talkies, the original versions of Popey, Winnie the Pooh, and Tintin.
In other parts of the world, coming into the public domain are works by people who died in 1954, for countries with a copyright term of “life plus 70 years” (e.g. UK, Russia, most of EU and South America); and works by people who died in 1974, for countries with a term of “life plus 50 years” (e.g. New Zealand, and most of Africa and Asia).
This fest will run from January 1-31 and I'll provide 3x3 public cards to get y'all started.
