Since they are all part of longer works, I'll just share snippets
Ray Gun -(SK) “I understand. Should I have a ray gun or something? Do we even have weapons?”
Ghost Town -(THH) “Do you think this is truly a ghost town?” Brendan eyed the dense knot of pines and exposed limestone as Josh drove the cuvy road. “I don’t see too many signs there was ever much more than the hotel out here but there had to be something, right?”
Genetic drift -(THH) "That sounds horrible. Why is that happening?"
"That's what we're trying to find out. Could be genetic drift since their numbers are small. Could be a virus. It's what I want to know, so I want to be out in the woods to see I can spot him."
Pollution -(RI) She had brought the bag to pick up any pollution that had washed ashore as was part of her duties as Keeper. She had stumbled on the opportunity to rent out the apartment in the lighthouse by accident and that unique hotel experience came with duties, cleaning up the beach was one of them.
Magic - (SK) Grumpy, headachy and vaguely nauseous, Deveral shambled back to the shelter site. Addy already had the thing refolded into its small portable form. That was a type of magic as far as Deveral was concerned.
