Hi all, I'm hosting this month's theme and it is spies, secret agents and noir. It runs from today right through to the 31st. The prompts on the public card can be changed for any from the list that you like more and the "Is that all you've got?" quote (yes, from Agent Carter) in the free space box is there to be used in anyway you want to or you can swap it for something else if it doesn't inspire you.
Create anything at all for this, do what inspires you the most and if you need some images to inspire you, the Daily Telegraph recently published this article on real secret locations where spies met. For fic the minimum word count is 100 words and no upper limit. There will be banners made for everyone who participates.
Prompts list: some of these are from the desperate situations list on the bingo card generator
"I'm intrigued; the last three attempts on my life were much better funded and prepared."
"I can only assume we're both missing part of the story here because that was supposed to kill you."
dangerous territory
"I hear breathing"
"Why would you run?"
He was extremely proficient at hand-to-hand comment and he possessed an especially mean streak reserved for anyone who called him something derogatory.
She/he decided to become a spy.
It was her/his mother who fuelled her/his love for accents and other cultures.
How did she/he become a secret agent?
She/he hardly seemed to know the difference between right and wrong any more.
Taken into protection by a spy organization
Within six months she/he went from protective custody to working on her/his own case.
He received a strange phone call that vaguely threatened his wife and children.
Everything changed when she found out that she was pregnant in the middle of an incredibly delicate assassination situation.
He was never meant to be a field operative and he was much more comfortable behind a computer than he'd ever been behind a gun.
He elected to use his brain rather than his fists to exit the situation.
In the last two months she had completely gone off the grid and there were worries that she'd gone rogue
femme fatale
getaway car and driver
undercover as a couple
undercover alone
mission accomplished
minor injuries
major injuries
that was too easy
"I need a drink after that."
Stranded in a Blizzard
Atop a Speeding Train
... 05 ... 04 ... 03 …
It's a Bomb!
Hopelessly Outnumbered
Out of Ammo
Rickety Bridge
It's a Trap!
Lost Child
Something Went Click
Brake Failure
Don't Speak the Language
I Thought You Brought It
Stumbling in the Dark
Don't Open That Door!
Gun Jammed
If You Want to Live – Run
Keep It Safe from Them
Mistaken Identity
Have fun and I can't wait to see what you come up with :)
