Re: authors who never heard of grammar. Try translating from any nonhuman language. I have gotten some mindblowing results from cetaceans. I wrote one poem that's basically a translation from dolphin sonar. Over in Polychrome Heroics, I write Steel and Moderato from a human friend's perspective, but they still think like whales.
