Check stores with clearance areas. Storage boxen for holiday things may still be available, which makes packing them more efficient.
Also worth checking, some liquor stores keep their boxes to send things home in and may give you a few if you ask nicely. The divided ones for wine bottles are good for storing ornaments. If the divider comes out and comes apart, you can use the individual slabs for winding holiday lights.

Try the breakfast sandwiches on croissants! Ours were very good.
