That's wonderful.
It's totally fine to make seasonal goals, rather than year-long or ongoing goals. I usually have a few in my goals list that are for a specific month or season. I also love one-day goals (like cleaning my window prisms) and "Do the thing X times" because they're concrete and easy to finish. So you might have winter writing season and summer gardening season, or whatever.
It took me a while to figure out what works for me in setting goals. I've tried some things that just didn't pan out, but I'm always curious to try new things and see if they'll work.
