If you have other hobbies, can they intersect with the prompt ideas? Drawing and digital art are obvious, but fiber arts could still work, especially with the mathetmatics-based designs popular on Ravelry.
Heck, a digital collage is something that I cannot do now, so you'd have one very happy, drooling person to applaud your efforts for that, too. *G*
