The following poem belongs to the series Tripping into the Future, which you can find via my Serial Poetry page. This is dark science fiction about one person who uses time travel as a weapon, and now has to live alone with the aftermath. Themes include loss, destruction, sacrifice, and survival.

The primary one is a plural person collectively called Damask, with different powers depending on who's in control at the time. Themes include diversity of sexuality, gender, ethnicity, and ableness; intrapersonal, interpersonal, and social dynamics; and different types of heroism.
