Valentines Bingo Fest
The Valentine's Day Bingo Fest will run from February 1-28. The theme is Valentine's Day and it spans both love and loss. To diversify options, I've done several things...
1) Prompts are divided into several groups. Romantic prompts feature positive relationships based on sweet affection, but don't have to involve sex. Erotic prompts are the carnal and kinky ones. Heartbroken prompts are about lost relationships and other things going wrong. Platonic prompts are for asexual spectrum, family, or otherwise non-sex/romance inspiration. Solo prompts celebrate self-love in all its forms.
Also on the Bingo Card Generator:
Love Songs
Romantic Vocabulary "You are ..."
The Language of Flowers
Other relevant lists:
Asexuality & Demisexuality
Kinks
Sex & Romance
From previous Valentines fests:
Romance Book Titles in 2021

Nonsexual Intimacies
Note that Arospec Awareness will be running February 20-26, after Valentines Day. If you're participating in that, you can make an arospec bingo card and play it as part of your awareness week activities. Feel free to refer other folks here for that purpose -- they can play even if they aren't regular members of this community.
2) A 3x3 card is offered in each current category, in hopes of making it easier to blackout. A 5x5 card mixes everything together for variety.
Feel free to mix and match the prompts, though, if you want a more diverse card. You can make a standard 5x5 or whatever you want. Creative interpretation is encouraged, and you don't have to stick to a category just because you're using its prompts. Sometimes it's fun to make ordinary things sexy or erotic things platonic.
3) Challenges! These are prompts that make the bingo card more exciting. You can add them to any category, or skip them, as you choose. They do let you claim multiple fills from one work.
=Multiple Orgasms= combine scenes about 2+ adjacent prompts,
=All-Nighter= double the fill size of adjacent prompt,
=Cheater= write cheater and cheated from prompts on opposite sides of this square,
=Aces High= turn adjacent romantic or sexual prompt platonic,
=Mirror= write adjacent prompt as positive and negative in different characters
4) In addition to the standard bingo patterns of line, blackout, etc. there are others especially suited to this holiday: Arrow, Arrowhead, Bow Tie (two versions), Diamond (three versions), and this set of Valentine shapes.
kadotoriku has created 10 banners for the Challenges and for various bingo patterns.

It's also linked in the sidebar.
Re: Try this ...
I must be losing my mind, but I still don't see it on the sidebar. I'm having a day. It started all good and has gone down hill. I'm going to make my bingo card. Hopefully that will cheer me up. :-)
Re: Try this ...
You're not losing your mind, you're just overloaded and frazzled right now. That means you'll miss things you ordinarily would not. Eventually things should calm down, and you'll get back to a more typical mindset.
Look at the boxes in the right sidebar. Top to bottom they are:

I hope so too. I haven't made mine yet, will probably do that today after midnight because it's easier to find if I put it on the first of the month.
Re: Try this ...
I did make my 3x3 bingo card. I already have a plot. I'm very excited. I think maybe I'll have a lemon bar instead of laying down. I forgot they were in my grocery order, I haven't had one in ages--a lemon bar and something for my headache and then hopefully I can give myself an hour to write and then take a swing at working on the house for at least an hour tonight and then I can start over in the morning
Re: Try this ...
I'm happy I could help.
>> I think I'm going to lay down for a little bit and start over.<<
That is an excellent idea. Whenever you feel exhausted, overwhelmed, etc. then a break can really help. When you get up, have a healthy snack -- that really helps revive energy. My go-to options are fresh fruit or yogurt, but I also like chewy granola bars. YMMV.
>> It's hard to work on the house when you don't have the patience for it . I don't know how everything was brilliant when I got up and everything went to hall after that.<<
Simple: you expended your energy on whatever you did in the morning while perky. Energy is a finite resource. Some good descriptions:
* Choice Paralysis
* Cognitive Offloading
* Decision Fatigue
See an example with judges. This is why you should snack on breaks.
* Ego Depletion
* Spoon Theory
* Willpower Is a Finite Resource
There is nothing wrong with you. You're just out of gas. Do things to refill your reserves, and you will have energy and be able to remember things and do tasks again.
When you are overloaded beyond your ability to cope, you need to throw some things off the wagon, at least for now. Prioritize. Cut your obligations. Focus on the most important stuff until the bottleneck passes. Otherwise you will burn out and crash hard, which really sucks.

Go you!

At least sit down and relax while you eat. A food break is very refreshing, especially if you choose foods that are uplifting or soothing. Lemon is uplifting and refreshing, which is why it's popular. I like oranges as an evening snack, and I make a point of smelling the rind as I peel it. Wakes my brain up. Evening up of tea is relaxing. I sniff that too.
Take care of yourself. You deserve it. You're not falling apart, just pushing yourself too hard. You'll get through this.

Yay!

I find that I do better if I keep mine where I can see them often. So they're on top of the stack of stuff with my desktop calendar.

Go for it!
One cool thing about this community is that anyone can play any card at any time. It makes sense to keep playing one that has few fills on it.

Will try to fill these this month!
