In honor of the old Cotton Candy Bingo Community I invite you all to come and write fluff. It will run from June1-June 30. I have for you 3 public cards. You are welcome to make your own if you prefer There is a list at the bingo card creator website. You can always use anyother list that fits the fluff category.

I didn't know that Cotton Candy Bingo was the inspiration for Allbingo.

Part of the inspiration, because I loved the prompts.

Some other communities contributed on a more frustrating note, because they only counted fills that had been posted. One went by lists, but you had to fill the whole thing. :/

I'd heard other people missing fests that had died out, or being frustrated by various parameters, so I wanted to make a community that would be more flexible. Plus it allows for small fandoms or other obscure stuff that wouldn't support a community of their own but can work fine for a monthly fest.

I'm glad you built a flexible community. I agree with you and the ones that were frustrated with the strict rules of other communities. This community is refreshing.

Wow. That is ambitious. I don't know what the rules are for the fist two bingo cards, but you could do drabbles or double drabbles for Cotton Candy.

No rules except for what I make them. I made the cards myself :-)

I don't know when I will finish them or if but I figure maybe I can work all three at once if I get some ideas I can make work for prompts on each of the cards.

LOL I wish I was capable of writing drabbles or double drabbles but the shortest thing I've written recently was 340 words long and that's short for me. I usually hit like 1k or more LOL...

Oh one other thing that makes this ambitious is be trying out writing for Royalty AU and Magical/Soul Bond as I picked those myself and I have never really touched those kinds of prompts before!

You might be able to do a triple drabble. You almost made it on the one that you said was 340 words. You could challenge yourself to write 300 words. :-)

I joined sereral drabble communities, because it's a fun challenge to have to either write exactly 100 or 200 words. I've had a couple of funny moments when I've lost control and suddenly have to just let the drabble go and en up with a longer fic, because I'm way over the word count. :D

I could try to limit myself but I have to say that short fic I wrote recently was the exception rather than the rule for me. I'm not sure I'll ever be a drabbling person on a regular basis and lol besides I have got a lot of words left to write on my 227,299 word goal for the year (when I hit that I will have 2 million words written in about 8 years) so lol longer fics serve a great purpose :)

Wow. That is a lot of words, at least in my world. I was just thinking that it would make it easier to finish if you limited yourself, but it seems that isn't the case. I feel like a slacker. My word goal for the year is 46, 000. I'm almost to 32,000 I think. I keep hoping to make it to 50,000. I think that would be cool. Do you do NoMoRoMo or whatever that's called in November? Every year I think about doing it and then I think that's not going to happen.

I used to do about 50000 a year myself and then I joined a group called Get Your Words Out. The membership is closed until the beginning of next year but they've worked wonders in helping me realize how much I can write in a year. Another group I am part of is Weekend Writing Marathon and they've got open membership all year - a lot of my words for the year have come during a weekend!

I've never managed to do NANOWRIMO. I think it is too much pressure on me and I have never developed any ideas I want to try to use for that.

But I believe you can write the words you've set for the year and maybe more. Here is a suggestion that I've used and do what you want with it but as you see yourself getting closer to your goal, set another one. Not a huge one to start with but some like 2000 to 5000 words and each time you get them, set another goal. If you do that say 5 times you can have anywhere from 10000 to 20000 more words than you originally planned. I admit my word count goals are big because I know I can write that much in a year and when I hit 227200 I won't be stopping for the year but will continue on. I'd love to hit 400K this year as it'd be the most words ever for me but I'd settle for breaking my current record ever just by like 100 words or so. I don't stop when I get to my goal either I exceeded last years goal by several thousand, I think. I used to have a lot better time management skills. but lately I've been dropping the ball.
