Cottoncandy Bingo Fest

I will be running the Cottoncandy Bingo Fest from September 1-30. This theme focuses on things which are light, fluffy, and sweet. Fills may include some challenging elements, but ideally, the overall tone should be uplifting. Everyone is encouraged to play. All formats and fandoms are welcome, along with original work. There are no size requirements.

The primary list of prompts comes from the old Cottoncandy Bingo community, now available on the Bingo Card Generator, and the Gentle Fiction list is equally apt. You may also want to choose prompts from Robert Plutchik's 1980 List of Emotions, Childhood Experiences, Emotions, People-watching, Positive Coping Techniques, Problems That Can't Be Solved By Hitting, Types of Family, and/or Little Actions For Self-Care. Feel free to mix and match if you want to make your own. Some fun patterns you might like to try: Airplane, Kite, Top Hat, Turtle.

August Bingo

Okay this didn't go as expected (i.e. all original fiction). I had signed up for the [community profile] wipbigbang to finish a monstrous BtVS/AtS crossover fanfic novel, Hyperion's Son and that ate my brain. So all my bingos are scenes from that.

My card here

I went straight down the O column (the whole story will be up on the 7th. If you're interested PM me) Here's some snippets from those scenes.

Bingo Card Generator Down

EDIT 9/2/18: It seems to be back up.  \o/

The Bingo Card Generator is down.  It was fine last night when I made the Cottoncandy public card and my personal card.  I tried sending a message to [personal profile] magibrain but I don't know if he's still on Dreamwidth.  Does anyone else have recent contact info?

In case the site cannot be retrieved, I have some prompt lists saved, though nowhere near all of them.  Others may be excavated from posts or other people's files.  Does anyone have the coding ability to write a similar generator?  Because running this site without that would be really hard.  It was the one thing that gave us a tremendous advantage over individually themed bingo communities -- we didn't have to hand-make every card, and we had a ton of saved prompt lists that anyone could use.
