PSA: WrestleMania 34 is coming

As some of you may already know, I'm going to host a Wrestling Fest next month (May 2018). If you've never watched wrestling or you only used to watch it in the past, WrestleMania is a great opportunity to come back/start. It will take place next Sunday (April 8, 2018), and you can watch it on the WWE Network - your first month is for free. Have fun!

will you have prompts that can be used with other fandoms with a wrestling theme as well the WWE?

Thoughts

I confess I'm really looking forward to this fest. It sounds new and different, yet still applicable to a wide range of what people are already doing. I suspect that wrestling prompts may fit really well with superhero/supervillain pairs. :D

Well ...

IP logging is turned on for spam control. Yes, we have occasional spam problems. That's one of my less-obtrusive means of discouraging it. When it acts up badly enough and a few deletions don't solve the problem, then I have to lock a journal to friends-only for a while, and for a community that kills casual traffic. So that one, I don't like to leave on all the time.

I'd love for the net to be safe for fully anonymous surfing all the time. But then it turns into: "TROLLS. Trolls as far as the eye can see!"

I have problems with spam about once every few months, across my various journals and communities. I have problems with trolls maybe once or twice a year. So it generally works.

That's why I prefer blogs to places like Facebook: not just the bigger post size, but the much better moderation tools. I prefer to use them lightly, but when problems occur, the lack of those tools becomes a kernel error for civil discourse.
