If it's your card, you can define it as you wish.

For my purposes, I typically go with:
* Wild Card means you can use any prompt you wish
* Free Space or an abstract design means you don't have to make anything for that, but it still counts
* Free by itself can be interpretated as either of the above or as "freedom" in a prompt
