There are two points of news today:

1) allbingo is now affiliated with fanbingo.  I was delighted to discover that fanbingo is another high-inspiration, low-pressure community that allows you to make your own cards, post from any fest, and otherwise focus on flexibility.  If you like fanfic tropes then you can get a card from their prompt list too.

2) hc_bingo is now open for Round 5. Read the current rules and prompts, then request a card if you want one.  This fest is good for plotty prompts that come with their own tension.  H/C cards combine very well with other cards that designate a character or setting; see the Bingo Card Generator for things like Characterization Tropes, Ethnic Groups, or Setting Tropes.  Just print the two cards, overlay them, and match up the squares.  So if you have B1 "hypothermia" on the H/C card and B1 "chronic hero syndrome" on the other, those two go together in a single fill.

Cool bingo comm. I was just reading the entries and the mod has done a halloween themed bingo and she's got two cards which are really cool. What I want to know is: do you think I can ask her if it's okay to link to her halloween entry? I've made one public card but if participants would like to use another and not make their own, these two cards might be useful for them. I was thinking that I'll ask her in September when I post the promo entry.
