Some people have physical reactions to certain sounds and it's been categorized as ASMR, but no matter what I've tried, I've missed that hair-standing-on-end reaction that seems to be integral to it. It happened a few times when I was younger, but I dismissed it as an oddity of the universe, and now I wonder if I actually turned that particular sense OFF.
