Sometimes, in the rush of paying bills and working, it's easy to forget that we are surviving. Enduring.
Since August is traditionally the month of Hollywood action films, let's take a look at survival from several different perspectives, from sudden danger to an emotional crisis. There are often moments left out of those rush-rush-rush action films, too, especially the emotional regrouping or adjustments to the hero's perceptions.
Let's explore the theme of survival in large and small ways. The following list is divided into: dangers, reactions, moments and consequences. The list is designed to be customized, to help you generate the perfect bingo card. I've created a public card as well, with what I hope is a decent mix of the categories.
There are no minimum word counts set. There are no exclusions or special criteria. Little moments can slip into other stories, enriching them. That's only one kind of inspiration; I hope each player uses the prompts and their card to add a bit of challenge and a lot of enjoyment to their own writing.
